Lhuillier recognizing the positive influence of the Italian political deals on the Filipino migrants organized last 6 March together with Municipio II of the City of Rome, a seminar, "Italian influence on Filipino Migrants in Italy", at the Sala Ospiti, Auditorium-Parco della Musica. This event is part of the year-long celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Italy.

Senator Andreotti is an Italian politician of the centrist Christian Democratic party who served as Prime Minister of Italy from 1972 to 1973, from 1976 to 1979, and from 1989 to 1992. He also served as Minister of Interior (1954 and 1978), Defence Minister(1959-1966 and 1974) and Foreign Minister(1983-1989), and has been a Senator-for-Life since 1991.
The event was highly attended by enthusiastic Italian government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, Filipino community leaders, and friends of the Embassy. A cocktail served with Filipino food capped the delightful evening.
